LINDA CHANG, M.D., is professor of medi­ cine at the John A. Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii and codirector of the University of Hawaii–Queen’s Medical Center Magnetic Resonance Research Program. She has extensive experience in clinical neuroscience research, particularly in the application of advanced neuroimaging techniques to study brain changes associated with HIV infection, substance abuse, brain development, and aging. Dr. Chang serves on the Science & Practice Perspectives Editorial Board.
